I used to sing at Christmas

We seem to have become one of those families like on TV. We are so messed up that it is slightly comical, but it’s not television, it’s real, so it’s not so funny. Christmas isn’t about family or Jesus or presents or eggnog anymore. It’s about making sure everyone is okay, it’s about making sure everyone is satiated rather than happy.
It’s depressing and it sucks. It’s no one’s fault. It just is what it is. It is hard but I will have to get used to it.

Last night I had my gum & some deviled eggs for supper only after I ran out of church early. So, I suck at life completely.

I just put on a smile and act like the people you’re spending the holiday with are happy to be with you and you, them. My lovely friend, Chelsea Turner, gave me some good advice: Just avoid them or start drinking.
Today, my intended major was looked down upon by a woman who quit school at the age of 16. That made me feel like shit. Could some one please tell me why I value that opinion?

One left. I hope it’s better.
People out there, giving.
Celebration in the air.
Midnight bells are ringing,
it's snowing everywhere.
Everyone's with someone, but for you and I,
I couldn't wait for Christmas.
Now Christmas makes me cry
People are caroling, but I won't even try.
I used to sing at Christmas,
now Christmas makes me cry.
Cause everyone's with someone who they love.
Everyone's with someone who they love.
Everyone's with someone, but for you and I.
I used to laugh at Christmas.
Now Christmas makes me cry.
